We, Biolytix AG, were founded in 1998 and have since established ourselves as a leading, independent specialist laboratory for molecular biological and microbiological analysis. Our laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited.

Tick test
Tick tests play a crucial role in the early detection of tick-borne diseases. These tiny arachnids can transmit dangerous pathogens such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). Early detection and timely treatment of such infections are crucial for a successful recovery and can prevent serious health complications.
Our tick tests can be used to check whether various pathogens such as borrelia, tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) virus, rickettsia, Ehrlichia phagocytophila or Alongshan virus (ALSV) can be detected in a tick. With this information, those affected can seek medical help in good time, treat possible infections and avoid long-term health problems.
